The original editorial offices occupied two rooms over a garage, on the second floor of a building on Main Street in Honesdale, PA, 35 miles northeast of Scranton. Since 1965 the editorial offices occupy a handsomely maintained pre-Civil War mansion (and several other restored older structures) in that same town. The founders established the business headquarters of Highlights in Columbus, Ohio, from the beginning of the magazine, and today, Highlights' business and warehousing operations have grown to occupy several facilities located in the west and northwest areas of Columbus.
