Highlights for Children today introduced its Hidden Pictures Club, a monthly two-book set featuring hidden-object puzzles and engaging games and activities for children. With two levels– Let’s Play Hidden Pictures for ages 3 to 6 and Eagle-Eye Hidden Pictures for ages 6 and up – all kids can now enjoy find-it fun that is appropriate for their age and skill level.
Let’s Play is designed for beginning puzzlers and includes Hidden Pictures puzzles plus mazes, matching games, silly characters and beginning Spanish-language puzzles.
More experienced puzzlers can enjoy Eagle-Eye, which features more advanced Hidden Pictures puzzles plus stories, word searches, crafts, recipes and introductions to world languages.
“Hidden Pictures has been the favorite feature of Highlights readers since the magazine was first published in 1946,” said Mary-Alice Moore, editorial director of continuities at Highlights. “Now kids of all ages who love Hidden Pictures scenes can immerse themselves in hours of seek-and-find fun with our Hidden Pictures Club.”
In addition to delivering puzzling fun, solving Hidden Pictures puzzles helps children build concentration, visual perception, logic and language skills, as well as feelings of self-confidence and accomplishment.
“Parents and grandparents can feel good about giving a gift that will provide timeless entertainment, while also helping kids to become better readers and learners. Parents on the go will also appreciate the fact that both Let’s Play and Eagle-Eye can be enjoyed anywhere – in the car, at a restaurant, or anytime kids need a quiet activity,” continued Moore.
Each monthly shipment of the Hidden Pictures Club includes two, 32-page puzzle books for a cost of $5.49 per book, plus shipping and handling.
