Friends ForeverFriends Forever
We’re celebrating the people who stick with us through thick and thin with the theme Friends Forever. We all know that kids’ friendships enrich their lives with laughter, fun, and play! But friends play an even bigger role in kids’ lives: friendships are an essential part of their social-emotional development. By making and keeping friends, kids learn important life skills, such as getting along with others and resolving conflicts. Friendship offers kids a means of exploring identity and self-understanding. Positive interactions with friends build self-esteem and help kids feel a sense of belonging. These days, many kids are not seeing their friends as much as they’d like. But there are still ways to spend quality time with friends, even while social distancing. We hope you and your family and all your pals enjoy these friendly activities.
