Pack a PicnicPack a Picnic
In this Highlights@Home collection, we’re inviting you to Pack a Picnic with your family! Sometimes in the summer, it’s the simple, time-tested activities that call to us—and this is one of them. Picnics are as easy as pie to pull off, especially if you use some of the suggestions we’ve included here. It’s hard to say what’s more important in a picnic—the food or the fun. Well, don’t worry. We cover both bases—and your kids can help with the prep. From fun fancy sandwiches to easy picnic games, these ideas will give kids a chance to show off their creativity. Not only that, you’re reminding them that even though this summer may look different than they thought it would, fun can always be found. One of the best things about a picnic is that you can stage it anywhere — in your backyard, at a park practicing social distancing, and even on the living room floor! It’s a simple way to turn an everyday meal into a warm memory for your family.
