In this new installment of free resources to help you make memories with your children, we hope that you heed the call of your pajamas and have some fun with your kids. As we face the second month of staying at home together, we know you’ve been working hard to be an attentive parent, an at-home teacher or tutor, and even your kids’ lunch lady. You may have been running on adrenaline for the first few weeks, but now we know that this at-home time is going to be more like a marathon than a sprint. So here’s a new content bundle created to help you be more present with your children. We hope you will let its theme—pajamas—remind you to cuddle with your kids. Physical touch is a great antidote to anxiety. In times of stress, it may be more necessary than getting all that schoolwork done. It’s more important than maintaining a clean, orderly house. Showing your children affection with a hug, snuggling on the couch to watch a movie, or reading together in a cozy blanket tent are all ways you can be fully present with your child. And being fully present shows your children that they are your priority, and that they will be safe and cared for. That’s an important message to deliver to your children—repeatedly—during these uncertain times.
