Each month in BrainPlay, we set out to boost your child’s curiosity, and to bolster his understanding of both himself and the world around him.
BrainPlay May 2017
BrainPlay May 2017Want to get to know another side of your kid this month?

Let us help.

At breakfast, dinner, or before bed, toss around any of the child-friendly questions from our BrainPlay feature (find it on page 6 in the May 2017 issue or download it here) and see what happens when you give your child the thumbs-up to answer any (or all) of the questions any way he likes.

Here’s what so amazing about BrainPlay: Kids know that every time they turn to the page, they will be challenged by 11 questions about everything and anything under the sun, and there are no wrong answers. (And you’ll love watching the wheels turn as your child comes up with the best responses.)

Our favorite Q’s this month:
  • Would it be easier to juggle marbles, beanbags, or mittens? Why?
  • Are you more patient when you’re happy or when you’re upset? Why?
  • Why isn’t paper furry?
  • What in nature is like an umbrella?

So, check out our sometimes silly, occasionally no-nonsense, and frequently thought-provoking ideas, and give your child a chance to ponder the options. Then turn the tables and answer the questions yourself!
