Looking for a lovely lunchbox surprise? Show you care with these “heart-y” cutout sandwiches. Make ’em, wrap ’em up, include a cheery handwritten message, and your child’s lunch is complete! Kids might also like making one for a friend or loved one’s snack, too.
Two toned heart sandwich
What You’ll Need
  • Heart-shaped cookie cutter
  • White-bread slices

What You'll Do
  1. Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut a heart shape from a slice of white bread.
  2. Cut another heart shape from a slice of wheat bread.
  3. Now switch the cutouts: Insert the brown cutout heart in the white slice, and the white cutout heart in the brown slice.
  4. Spread favorite sandwich fillings on two other slices of bread and lay them faceup on a plate.
  5. Top the open-faced sandwiches with the two-toned heart-shaped tops.
