This game is perfect for playing with friends over video chat. Who can keep their balloon in the air the longest?
bat a balloon

What to Do

1. Cover a long cardboard tube with wrapping paper.

2. Cut two 1-inch-deep slits opposite each other on one end of the tube. Repeat on the other end.

3. Trace around both of your hands onto colored paper. Cut out the hand shapes and glue them onto poster board. Draw a circle around each hand on the poster board. Cut out the circles.

4.  Insert the circles into the slits on both ends of the tube.

How to Play

Hold the bat in one hand and toss a balloon into the air with the other. Keep the balloon in the air by hitting it with the hands on your bat, alternating the bat’s hands with each hit. Count up the hits you get before the balloon touches the ground. Play with your friends and see who can keep the balloon in the air the longest.
