Hot Spiced Cider [1]

Chase away the chills!
  1. Pour 1 gallon of cider into a large slow cooker. Stir in 3 tablespoons of honey and ¼ teaspoon of ground ginger.

  2. Add 12 whole cloves, 1 cinnamon stick, and ½ of an orange, sliced.

  3. Place the lid on the slow cooker. Heat on HIGH for 2 hours.

  4. Use a spoon to remove the cloves, cinnamon stick, and orange slices.

  5. Ladle the cider into mugs. Top with whipped cream.

After playing outside on a cold day, warm up with a mug of hot spiced cider.
