- 2 long pieces of yarn
What to Do
Artistry and imagination take flight when kids create their own pair of wings and fly into the land of make-believe. This craft also serves as a fine birthday-party activity for a flock of little friends.

1. Cut the cardboard into a pair of adjoined butterfly wings. Poke four holes in the midpoint where the wings meet.

2. Cut the foil into small strips. Glue foil strips to the back of the wings and let them dry.

3. Decorate both sides of the wings with paint, stickers, and markers.

4. String a piece of yarn through the top two holes, and the other piece of yarn through the bottom two holes. Tie top and bottom yarns together on each side and slip on the wings like a backpack.
