As the combined SDE/Stenhouse Publishing group continues to grow its professional books, classroom resources, and programs for K-12 educators, the SDE/Stenhouse Digital and eMarketing Specialist will play a critical role in enabling SDE/Stenhouse to:

  • leverage marketing automation systems and CRM to execute targeted digital campaigns to generate, nurture, and close leads
  • manage the SDE and Stenhouse website and social media channels, ensuring that information is up to date, compelling, and strategically positioning key products
  • oversee and optimize paid search to better leverage Amazon, Facebook, Google, and other channels
  • leverage and analyze marketing data to determine the effectiveness of our campaigns to help inform future enhancements.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Email Marketing, Online Advertising (including Google, Facebook, and Amazon ads), SEO, and SEM: Works with internal marketing team and customer service to maintain the house e-mail list. Manages the production and deployment the e-newsletter, email, and lead nurture campaigns, landing pages, and webforms via marketing automation tools. The Specialist will help create landing pages for promotions, create and manage on-line ads and maintain and improve site merchandising. The Specialist will also design and implement tests related to design, navigation, forms, processes and offers. Creates and updates the online ad schedule, traffics materials to publishers, and monitors and tracks response. Work to build Amazon product and brand pages and leverage Amazon Advertising to grow customer base and build brand awareness.
  • Stenhouse and SDE Website:  Coordinates website development, in collaboration with the Marketing Systems and Operations Manager and other members of the team. Maintains, manages, and troubleshoots web content using content management system. Works with customer service and proofreaders to ensure that product, author, and other e-commerce info is updated on time and accurately. Implements special offers, landing pages, and website special programming. Carry out tests of design, navigation, forms, processes, and offers.
  •  Social Media: Maintains social media accounts and works with SDE and Stenhouse Marketing Managers and SDE/Stenhouse Content Marketing Manager on ensuring timely and periodic social media activity on all channels.
  • Inbound Marketing: Partners with marketing and sales to deploy strategic nurture campaigns, ensure content is available, and support inside sales efforts.
  • Content Analysis: Work with Marketing Operations teams to analyze reports and analytics to measure content effectiveness and inform future content enhancements. Keep up-to-date with best practices in catalog marketing, writing for the web, social media trends, web usability, web design, and business/industry trends. Work with SDE/Stenhouse Content Marketing Manager on logistical execution of all print and online campaigns.  Continually learn and test new approaches in digital and emarketing with an eye toward trying new methods.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of web/emarketing experience
  • experience and knowledge of Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Amazon Advertising, and Social Media ads
  • strong analytical skills
  • experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • website/e-commerce experience
  • experience executing social media campaigns across all platforms
  • project management experience in a marketing environment
