Editorial Assistant – Highlights Learning

Highlights Learning is an exciting new publishing and product development initiative at Highlights. Highlights Learning takes our kid-approved, Fun with a Purpose® approach and organizes it into a progressive framework, aligned with school standards. A consumer, retail-focused initiative, Highlights Learning workbooks and learning products are not intended to function as school curriculum. Rather, they are for parents of children 0 – 8 years to help support learning at home with materials that combine Highlights’ brain-building puzzles and humor with curriculum practice to make learning fun and to pave the way for school success. While the initial launch of Highlights Learning products spans a variety of print formats, including workbooks, practice pads, activity books, and board books, it will also include the development of new print formats as well as Highlights Learning digital products. This position is part of the book publishing division of Highlights for Children, which combines with Highlights Press, and believes in publishing books for children of all ages that are engaging, exciting, interesting, and fun.

We have an immediate opening for an Editorial Assistant. This is a one-year position with medical benefits and a retirement-program opportunity.
