This position works cooperatively and proactively to provide operational and technical support to internal customers. This position is responsible for accurately interpreting, and processing complex customer orders and partners with intra- and interdepartmental team members to effectively support and respond to internal and external customer needs.  This position is seasonal and will run from mid-May through August, 2018.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for receiving and handling inbound calls related to orders, shipment verification, returns, product questions, technical support questions, general questions, and complaints/concerns from internal and external customers.
  • Accurately and efficiently keys orders and sample requests into Company’s fulfillment system.
  • Creates customer records within fulfillment system for new customers and maintains customer records for current customers.
  • Responds to customer inquiries received via phone, fax, mail or e-mail and contacts customers to clarify any discrepancies or questions regarding purchase orders.
  • Provides assistance to Customer Experience Specialists, which may include processing sample orders, processing customer orders, processing customer returns and other related customer transactions.
  • Initiates form letters, and/or composes business letters to customers regarding the status of their order or transaction.
  • Supports regional marketing direct mail initiatives.
  • Accurately tracks and logs all calls on a daily basis for statistical purposes.
  • Compiles survey data from internal and external customers.
  • Develops and maintains accurate reporting, as requested.
  • Generates invoices.



  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in a sales and customer service environment or related business environment
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional skills with office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
