The Senior Marketing Associate position builds and executes new and existing marketing strategies and tactics within their assigned channels to drive both customer acquisition and retention within the Highlights direct to consumer business. They are tasked with supporting and aligning to the over-arching strategic business goals as laid out by senior management. This position will partner with, and lead, internal cross-functional teams to create and execute successful marketing campaigns, driving growth and profitability. The role requires a candidate that is customer-focused, highly motivated, and eager to learn. This role reports to the Marketing Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  •     Coordination, project management, support and communication with assigned marketing channels.
  •     Create supporting campaign materials including strategy documents and test grids.
  •     Open and oversee Creative and IT tickets, and all elements within, from request to completion.
  •     Proof campaign assets.
  •     Propose and develop testing plans.
  •     Follow though and troubleshoot test execution.
  •     Plan or select campaign premiums.
  •     Seek, evaluate, and recommend new and/or optimized promotional opportunities.
  •     Provide analysis and fiscal reporting for assigned channel(s).
  •     Understand external marketing, financial and competitive trends.
  •     Partner, collaborate, and lead internal and external teams and vendors.
  •     Background or experience in retention tactics and strategies.



  •     Bachelors’ Degree with 3+ years of marketing experience; some publishing experience is a plus.
  •     Self-starter who is passionate and driven to expand and grow their experience.
  •     Strong attention to detail necessary to manage the execution of success and mistake free campaign, delivered on time and within budget.
  •     Ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple, concurrent projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams while keeping projects moving and on track to meet deadlines.
  •     Analytical skills necessary to understand the impact of business decisions.
  •     Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively by adapting approach, language and style to a wide variety of audiences and stakeholders; ability to grasp and communicate the big picture while remaining conversant with details.
  •     Strong Microsoft Office skillset, specifically in Excel.
